Our Roots
Founded in 1987, Urban Strategies Council is a nationally recognized research, advocacy, and collective impact organization based in the Bay Area, California. We are a trusted partner and convener of community collaborations and an incubator of new ideas to advance racial equity and social justice.
OUR VISION
For a just, equitable society without poverty, where basic needs are met and systemically oppressed people have agency, power, and the opportunity to thrive.
